What We Do

Consulting, Bidding
& Labor Supply

Modern Engineering & Construction LLC is not a licensed contractor. We are a construction consulting and labor supply firm — we build bid packages, supply insured W-2 workers, and manage projects on your behalf.

01

Bid Packaging — Roofing

For residential and commercial roofing needs, we develop a complete bid package — scope of work, material specifications, and 2–3 competitive proposals from vetted, licensed roofing contractors. You review the options and hire the contractor directly. We never hold or work under a roofing license.

02

Bid Packaging — All Trades

We build bid packages for any licensed trade — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, waterproofing, stucco, and more. Property owners and developers get competitive, documented options without having to source, vet, or negotiate with contractors themselves.

03

W-2 Labor Supply

We employ field laborers as W-2 workers under our own General Liability and Workers’ Compensation insurance and make them available to licensed contractors, construction firms, and property owners. Our workers are our employees — your liability exposure is eliminated.

GC & Contractor Consulting

We provide independent 1099 consulting services to licensed general contractors and specialty contractors — estimating, project coordination, scope writing, budget tracking, and schedule management. We bring the expertise without being on your license.

05

Project Management

We manage construction projects on behalf of property owners — coordinating licensed trade contractors, tracking schedules, attending inspections, and delivering closeout documentation. We do not hold a contractor’s license and do not perform licensed work.

06

Contractor Vetting & Qualification

Every contractor in a bid package is verified for active license status, current insurance certificates, BBB standing, and references. We eliminate unqualified bids before they reach you — you only see contractors who are legally able to perform the work.

07

Site Assessments & Reporting

Pre-bid site assessments, drone surveys, condition reports, and documentation to define scope before contractors are engaged. We provide the documentation licensed contractors need to bid accurately — reducing change orders and scope disputes.

Insurance Claim Coordination

We work with property owners and adjusters to define scope, organize licensed contractor bids, and coordinate the insurance claim process. We serve as the owner’s representative — not as a contractor — throughout the claim and repair process.
